After getting married, my wife and I were looking for a nice, relaxing place to enjoy a few days on Nantucket. The Carlisle House Inn did not disappoint. From healthy, delicious breakfasts, an evening mixing station, and nightly S'mores bar in the backyard, the staff thought of just about everything we could have wanted for a fun and relaxing stay. We absolutely loved Nantucket and couldn't have imagined a better or more central place to stay. We will definitely be back!

We just spent 3 nights here and were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is superb and convenient for walking (we only used a taxi once to go to Madaket). The Inn is clean and the outdoor space that guests can use is fantastic and allows you to relax without having to be indoors. The gardens are well landscaped and the seating by the fire pit is a great place to relax, read or have a cocktail. The Innkeeper was accommodating when we asked questions or for something additional. We felt very much at home while we were there. At times we wished there was a hot breakfast, but we knew there would not be one ahead of time, so it was not a big deal. We plan to return here on our next trip.
